History In December 1998, Worldbid.com's design team completed the back-end software for a website that would provide an easy-to-use posting board for buyers and sellers of goods and services in any marketplace in the world. The site was launched on the World Wide Web under the domain name, "Worldbid.com," on February 1, 1999. Worldbid.com is a Business-to-Business Internet service site specifically designed to enable individuals and companies throughout the world to procure, source (buy) and tender (sell) products internationally. Worldbid.com's system is easy to use and provides all leads directly to the user on a continuous basis via e-mail. Offers to buy and sell are reviewed and posted almost instantaneously. Worldbid.com has a worldwide client base that is expanding exponentially as clients discover the value of the Company's service. Worldbid's easy-to-use search engine and simple site layout cater to all customers worldwide, including those whose primary language is other than English. Registered users can view offers to buy and sell in over 1,000 categories and can post new offers. Upon request, registered users can receive e-mail notifications of new bids posted to any category in which they are interested.
